Commercial[link]
The everlasting adventures of Mr Thompson is a commercial for Thompsons Lollipops which I made at school.. I made it in Macromedia Flash 8..edited it in Windows Movie Maker (due to not having installed Adobe Premiere on my laptop yet...) I made it in not too long time.. Perhaps one day of continuos work, not a long time anyhows, this look was really simple to animate and I almost didn't animate anything, it's mostly just still pictures, so it wen't smoothly to make it..
I've recently fallen in love with the look of old films, and specially silent films, with just piano or music box tunes, which is what I used here.. I've really come to like the tv disturbance also, which I used a lot here, although it's not so easy to see.. Probably the most easy to see in the mouth of the weird puppet person.. not sure what he is..
Although I love the black/white theme, I made the red clearly stand out, I don't know why.. but hm, I don't think it really breaks too much with my overall theme of the commercial... Not that it's a good commercial in any way.....
Oh well, I made it more so for fun then for serious business.. something the Fish is a testemony to.
